
A LaPorte County traffic stop led to the arrest of a suspected drug dealer Thursday morning. A sheriff’s deputy says he pulled over an eastbound SUV on the Indiana Toll Road for traffic infractions. A search of the vehicle allegedly turned up a large amount of an illegal drug and a pistol.
The driver, Kelvin M. Bradford, 39, of Alliance, Ohio, was arrested on suspicion of dealing in cocaine and possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon.
