A LaPorte woman is accused of dealing methamphetamine, following a Sunday night traffic stop. LaPorte County sheriff’s deputies say they pulled a vehicle over for speeding near Johnson Road and County Road 500 West at around 11:20 p.m. When they searched the vehicle, police say they found illegal drugs and paraphernalia.
The driver, Stacy M. Sutton, 36, was taken to the LaPorte County Jail. In addition to dealing in methamphetamine, she is also accused of possession of a controlled substance and driving while suspended with a prior violation.
