The Eastern Pulaski School Board approved the calendars for the next two school years Monday. Superintendent Dara Chezem says that one of the big changes is that fall break will be a week later both years.
“That is to align with Logansport, Pioneer, and Caston corporation, in which we share students,” Chezem explains. “We also added a day of in February with Presidents’ Day and a potential makeup day in February, also.”
Eastern Pulaski’s 2021-2022 calendar calls for a first day of class on August 11, with a last day on May 25. Students will get one week off for fall and spring breaks, three days off for Thanksgiving, and just under two weeks off for winter break.
The 2022-2023 calendar calls for a first day on August 10 and a last day on May 24.
