The Knox Board of Works had three code enforcement hearings scheduled last month, but officials were able to work out agreements with the property owners before the meeting began. Public hearings were scheduled for 504 East Culver Road, 1498 East John Street, and 342-344 West Spruce Drive.
After meeting with the property owners, Director of Building and Code Compliance Kenny Pfost said they’d all agreed to have their properties cleaned up within 20 to 30 days, depending on the weather, and that all of them had been cooperative.
Board members agreed to dismiss all three hearings. But if the property owners don’t comply with their agreements, they’ll be brought back before the board to readdress the issues.
