A proposed solar farm development will be back before the Pulaski County Board of Zoning Appeals next month. Board members will take comments on a special exception request for Mammoth Solar. Developers are seeking permission to install solar panels on almost 4,700 acres. They would be placed in three separate sections in Franklin, Jefferson, Monroe, and Rich Grove townships.
In the application documents, the developers say it’s “a companion project to a previous special exception,” to allow them to provide additional setbacks to neighboring landowners and meet their commitments to the BZA.
The BZA hearing will be held Monday, March 15 at 6:00 p.m. EDT in the Pulaski County Highway Garage in Winamac.
