The search is underway for a design-build firm to oversee a project that would move Tri-Township’s high school from LaCrosse to Wanatah.
The school corporation is accepting proposals through next Monday. They’re scheduled to be scored by the technical review committee on March 11, before the school board makes a selection on March 18.
The project would involve an addition to the Wanatah School building, which is expected to include five classrooms, meeting rooms, and additional restrooms. Students at all grade levels would be expected to share the same cafeteria and media center.
The project would allow the century-old LaCrosse building to close to students after the 2021-2022 school year, and consolidate all grade levels into one building in Wanatah.
