A crash involving two semis shut down U.S. 30 in LaPorte County Monday morning. LaPorte County sheriff’s deputies said in a Facebook post that it happened at the railroad crossing near Hanna. Injuries were reported.
Police say westbound U.S. 30 had reopened by about 1:00 p.m., followed by one eastbound lane about an hour later. The left eastbound lane remained closed, as of Monday afternoon. Motorists are asked to use caution.
