The North Judson Town Council will take comments on an alley vacation request tonight. Tom DeCola owns three parcels of land off of Simmons Street, but they’re separated by what are technically alleys. During the previous council meeting, Clerk-Treasurer Andrew Rowe said DeCola’s request only appears to apply to the alleys between those parcels, not to those bordering any other properties.
Tonight’s public hearing starts at 6:00 at North Judson Town Hall, followed by the council’s regular meeting at 6:30. During the regular meeting, a $30,000 loan to Outstanding Tradeshow Exhibit Services through the town’s revolving loan fund will be up for final approval. It’s designed to help the business through the ongoing pandemic. Council members will also open cemetery mowing bids and continue discussing a five-year parks master plan.
