The Starke County Commissioners will consider a request for a new position in the Prosecutor’s Office this morning. The request is then expected to go to the county council tonight.
Park Board Member Kathy Norem is also expected to give an update on the Bass Lake Beach and Knox Main Street United’s plan to install a plaque on the courthouse lawn to recognize the county’s “space tree.”
A change order for the courtroom renovations will be up for the commissioners’ approval, and a proclamation for Child Abuse Prevention Month will be read. This morning’s Starke County Commissioners meeting starts at 9:30 in Starke County Annex Building No. 1.
