The Eastern Pulaski Community School Corporation will not be offering students a virtual learning option next school year. An updated continuous learning plan was approved by the school board Monday, at the recommendation of Superintendent Dara Chezem.
“After discussions with the administration and teachers, it is our recommendation that Eastern Pulaski School Corporation will offer only in-person instruction in the fall,” Chezem told board members. “After reviewing grades, attendance, cases of COVID, among other factors, in-person instruction best meets our students’ educational needs.”
But she said the school corporation may adjust the specific protocols closer to the start of the school year, depending on any further guidance and mandates.
The Knox Community School Corporation has also dropped the virtual learning option for next school year, according to Superintendent Dr. William Reichhart.
