The Knox City Council will consider a policy for electronic fund transfers and online banking tonight. The proposed resolution would let the clerk-treasurer make certain payments like payroll and bond payments through Automatic Clearing House transactions, along with online transfers.
The mayor will also seek the council’s approval to seek bids for trash and recycling pickup. Both the current contractor, Waste Management, and Republic Services have expressed interest during recent meetings.
Tonight’s Knox City Council meeting starts at 6:00 at Knox City Hall.
