North Judson is expanding the hours of its splash pad. The town council agreed Monday to extend the hours to 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. until school starts August 11.
“This is the hottest month of the year right now,” noted Council President John Rowe. “This is where we’re really getting our kids out there.”
Up until now, the Norwayne Field splash pad has generally been open from 10:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Winamac, the other local town with a new splash pad, recently expanded its hours to 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., due to heavy use.
