The Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce is giving out not one, but two, H.J. Halleck Community Service Awards. Pulaski residents Paul and Brenda Gilsinger have been named the 2021 Halleck Award recipients, according to a chamber press release. But since no award was given last year, the chamber has also named Betty Kruger of Francesville as the 2020 recipient.
The chamber plans to hold two separate award ceremonies this fall. Dates have not yet been finalized.
The Halleck Award is typically given annually to “outstanding individuals who have volunteered, supported, and improved or impacted the quality of life in Pulaski County.” The chamber of commerce says these recipients exemplify that purpose.
