The Pulaski County Fair continues, despite the threat of rain. The fair board posted on Facebook Monday that river levels aren’t a concern at this point, and animals weren’t being sent home early. The National Weather Service predicts that the Tippecanoe River at Winamac will crest tonight just below the flood stage.
Today’s 4-H activities include the rabbit, goat, and dairy shows. The parade steps off at 6:00 p.m. EDT, weather permitting, making its way down Market Street, Washington Street, and into the Winamac Town Park.
Tomorrow is Poverty Awareness Day, with Pulaski County Junior Leaders collecting donations for local food pantries. Thursday night features the 4-H auction at 6:00. The final event is Saturday morning’s antique tractor pull at 11:00.
