Pulaski Memorial Hospital will soon be getting a new CEO. Tom Barry is retiring at the end of the year, according to a hospital press release. He’s served as the hospital’s chief executive since 2013.
Replacing him will be Stephen Jarosinski. He comes to Pulaski Memorial Hospital with more than 20 years of health care experience, most recently as a health care specialist with Indianapolis accounting firm Blue and Company. Jarosinski will officially start as chief operating officer on August 1, before transitioning to CEO on January 1, 2022.
Hospital Board President Courtney Poor says Jarosinski “was the clear choice for CEO” and that he’s “the person to lead Pulaski Memorial to new heights of success in patient care.” Poor also thanked Barry “for his hard work and commitment,” saying he’s done a phenomenal job leading the hospital.
