A new health care provider is coming to Starke County. Northwest Health says Nurse Practitioner Renae Atkins recently joined the Northwest Medical Group.
She’ll practice family medicine at the group’s primary care office in Knox, specializing “in general and preventive medicine for patients from newborns through geriatrics.”
Northwest Health says it’s part of an ongoing effort to meet the growing demand for primary care. Access to primary care has long been a challenge for Starke County.
