The Oregon-Davis School Corporation will be cracking down on students who are consistently late. The school board last week approved student and staff handbooks for the 2021-2022 school year, according to Superintendent Bill Bennett.
“Starting this upcoming school year, to assist us with Project Attend, every five tardies will now be an unexcused absence,” Bennett explains. “That’s probably the major change to the student handbook.”
Meanwhile, instructional fees will generally not be going up this year. Bennett says the fees approved by the school board were all at or below last year’s levels.
