The Starke County Community Foundation has announced the latest round of surprise $1,000 popup grants. The Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum got $1,000 in June, while North Judson’s Pioneer Cemetery Transformation Project was July’s recipient.
The monthly popup grants began as a way to celebrate the Starke County Community Foundation’s 25th anniversary this year. Now, Director of Development Jacque Ryan says the foundation has decided to continue them after 2021.
An Ambassador’s Club of former community foundation board members will continue to choose the recipients. Former board members who still want to have an active role are encouraged to email starke@nicf.org or call 574-772-3665.
