Knox Redevelopment Commission to Discuss Popup Store, Sabre Property, Frisbee Golf

A new popup store, the acquisition of the Sabre property, and a Frisbee golf course are among the topics that will be discussed by the Knox Redevelopment Commission this afternoon. The city is looking to set up its second popup store downtown, after the Rabbit Coffee Company successfully took up permanent residence in the city’s first one.

Knox could also set up an industrial popup space at the former Sabre property on State Road 8. The redevelopment commission will decide whether to accept the donation of the property today, following the city council’s approval last month. Part of the property could also be used to store city equipment. The commission will also be asked to contribute $4,500 toward a proposed Wythogan Park Frisbee golf course, matching the amount committed by the city council.

This afternoon’s Knox Redevelopment Commission meeting starts at 4:00 at Knox City Hall.
