The Knox Community School Corporation’s former food services director is out of a job.
The school board recently terminated the employment of Karen Baker as a food service employee, according to the draft meeting minutes. In June, the school board entered into a contract with the Northern Indiana Educational Services Center for a food services director.
Superintendent Dr. William Reichhart says the termination was not related to that agreement, but the new director had already taken over by the time Baker’s termination occurred.
