Pulaski County has a new building inspector. Karla Redweik was appointed to the position by the county commissioners Monday. She was the Building Department assistant for years and had been serving as interim building inspector for the past few months.
Commissioner Chuck Mellon says it’ll be up to Redweik to recommend someone for the deputy building inspector position. “We hope that that would be at our next meeting so we can get the office moving,” Mellon said, “and I think she’s done a good job keeping things in order by herself for about three months here, since we’ve had a person in there.”
Redweik replaces Doug Hoover, who was fired from the position in early May.
