Two people were hurt in a crash Sunday afternoon at the intersection of State Road 39 and Toto Road. Starke County Sheriff Bill Dulin says just before 2:00 p.m., a GMC heading westbound on Toto Road stopped at the intersection but failed to yield to a northbound semi truck.
The driver of the GMC, Keith Emery, 48, of South Bend, was transported by Lutheran Air for treatment, while the driver of the semi, Casey Keith, 35, of Peru, reportedly had minor injuries.
The North Judson Police Department and North Judson-Wayne Township Volunteer Fire Department also assisted the Sheriff’s Department.
