Knox Board of Works to Consider Filter Media Change Today

The Knox Board of Works is expected to consider an upgrade to the city’s water filtration system this morning. A filter media change will be up for the board’s approval.

Water Superintendent Tim Lindewald told board members last month that the media haven’t been changed in almost 17 years, reducing the effectiveness of the filtration system. This morning’s Knox Board of Works meeting starts at 9:30 at Knox City Hall.
