Now that Knox High School has an agriculture program, it’s also restoring its FFA chapter. Ag teacher Melvin Lenig introduced chapter president Ismael DeLara and other board members to the school board Monday, according to Superintendent Dr. William Reichhart.
“He presented to the board that these folks will be going down to Indianapolis and participating in a leadership academy in the future, as well as getting started serving us as a board,” Reichhart says.
Lenig also reported that there are currently 52 students enrolled in the new ag program.
