North Judson residents have a chance to weigh in today on proposed apartment and townhome developments. Kirt Verhagen is asking the town to rezone properties at the southeast corner of State and George streets and the southwest corner of Central and Keller avenues to multi-family residential.
“He’s got plans for duplexes and then an apartment building, and then duplexes and then an apartment at both,” says Clerk-Treasurer Andrew Rowe. “Basically, both locations are going to be a bit of combination of both.”
The North Judson Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on the rezoning request at 5:30 p.m., before making a recommendation to the town council when it meets at 6:30. Council members are also expected to choose a consultant to help create a five-year park plan.
Tonight’s meetings will be held at North Judson Town Hall.
