Starke County Emergency Medical Services will soon be looking for a new director. Travis Clary publicly announced his resignation from the director position during Monday’s county commissioners meeting, after submitting the paperwork last week.
“I appreciate all the support in the position that you guys have given me,” he told the commissioners, “and I know I’ve explained it all to you guys, my reasonings. But no hard feelings, and again, I appreciate all the support.”
Clary said he’ll continue serving as EMS director until November 1, when he plans to go back to being a full-time paramedic. Clary has served as Starke County EMS director since 2017.
