The Wanatah Scarecrow Festival kicks off today. Festivities start with a harvest contest this afternoon, with music from the AcoustiCats featuring the Martin Boys at 7:00.
Saturday’s festivities include the 3-K walk and 5-K run at 8:00 a.m., the parade at 11:00 a.m., and music from Nate Venturelli at 7:00 p.m. The Scarecrow Festival wraps up Sunday with a car show, more entertainment, and a closing ceremony at 4:00 p.m.
