The Knox School Board will take comments on the proposed teacher contract tonight. The base salary range, under the proposed agreement, is from $40,700 to $65,715. But teachers rated “effective” or “highly effective” would receive $4,000 on the base salary, or 11 percent increase on the base.
The school board will also be asked to approve more work for the planned high school vocational wing, as well as the school corporation’s 2022 budget.
Tonight’s Knox School Board meeting starts at 6:30 in the Knox Middle School Redskin Room.
