Pulaski County residents can share their input on how the county should develop in the future.
Community Development Commission Executive Director says he’s been working for about six or seven months with a strategic visioning committee to update the commission’s 2010 strategic plan. “Next week, I will be doing three open houses to give the public the opportunity to come and ask questions, express concerns, make comment on it,” Origer told the county council and commissioners Monday. “They’re going to be kind of informal, low-key things.”
The open houses will be held Monday at the Star City Community Center small building, Tuesday at the West Central Schools central office, and Wednesday at Tepicon Hall at Tippecanoe River State Park. Each open house will take place from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. EDT. Those who can’t make it to one of the scheduled events can visit the CDC Office at the Winamac Municipal Utilities Complex or email nporiger@pulaskionline.org.
You can find the first draft of the strategic plan on Pulaski County’s website. The strategic visioning committee will review the input on October 26, before presenting the draft to the full Community Development Commission on November 2.
