Pulaski County is looking for a new manager for its Recycling & Transfer Station. Brad Bonnell stepped down last week citing health reasons, according to County Commissioner Chuck Mellon. During Monday’s meeting, the commissioners accepted Bonnell’s resignation and appointed John Kegarise as interim manager.
County Council Member Rudy DeSabatine has recently been looking into leasing the facility to an outside company, but that idea has been met with concern by the Northwest Indiana Solid Waste District and other county officials.
Meanwhile, the commissioners finalized the appointment of Mary Holehan as the new Pulaski County Soil & Water Conservation District support coordinator.
