A Medaryville public art installation was dedicated over the weekend. A family of sandhill cranes and a scenic wetland are the subject of a new mural at the corner of Main and National streets.

The first crane appeared in June and the full project was completed last week, according to the Pulaski County Tribe, the nonprofit group that coordinated the project. They hosted a dedication ceremony on Saturday with artist Zach Medler.

The original crane has been named W.P. Crane, referring to its location in White Post Township. Kohen, Graham, and Leyton Federer, with the help of their mom, submitted the winning entry in a naming contest.
