Pulaski County Community Development Commission (CDC) Executive Director Nathan Origer addressed the Pulaski County Council this week on the Housing Program getting underway.

Origer stated that the initiative of the program is to find out what they can do to increase population, get better school enrollment and overall better economic commerce within Pulaski County.

Executive Director of the Community Foundation of Pulaski County Wendy Rose spoke on four subjects that the program is focused on at this point. She mentioned broadband, recreation, housing and downtown development as being the main focal points of the program. She added that a new Main Street in Winamac is part of the project.

Origer stated that a housing meeting to discuss more of the program is Tuesday, July 26 at 8:30 a.m. ET at the Knights of Columbus in Winamac.
