Knox Board of Works Still Waiting for Information on June 30 Fire

The Knox Board of Public Works members are still waiting on information from the 18 South Main Street fire in Knox June 30.

The Director of Building, Planning and Code Compliance Kenny Pfost said, “As you can see, nothing has been done as far as clean up. We sent a code enforcement on that and I sent letters in order to demolish. So, we will have a hearing here at next month’s meeting.”

The question was raised if there was insurance on the 18 South Main. Pfost replied, “We are working to determine whether there was insurance or not.”

The public hearing is set for Wednesday, August 24 at 9:30 a.m. CT in the Knox City Hall.
