The Food Truck Friday event in Hamlet has been scheduled for Friday, September 9.
In a previous meeting the Hamlet Town Council suggested having the event at the park, but has since decided to hold it outside the Town Hall.
Hamlet Clerk-Treasurer Kristina Pitts said by having it located on the main road in town, the hope is that it would attract more attention. She added the town is looking for anyone that owns a food truck and is permitted in the county to contact the Town Hall.
Food truck vendors interested in becoming part of the Town of Hamlet Food Truck Fridays should call the Town Hall at 574-867-3541.
