The Hamlet Town Council discussed ways to create more community activities during their regular meeting this week.
Hamlet Town Council President Dave Kesvormas presented the idea of having food trucks brought in to potentially stimulate local business. Kesvormas suggested Friday being the day of the week to hold the event.
“We are looking at setting up an area closest to the street in the park to have a couple food truck days to where we can kind of create a little excitement here in town,” said Kesvormas.
Although they are still in the planning stages, Kesvormas mentioned that there are several locally-owned food truck vendors in Starke County.
