The Oregon-Davis School Board discussed ways at making the bus routes more cost effective.
Superintendent Bill Bennett mentioned they have been working on making sure the routes are as efficient as possible.
With the price of fuel, this was something Bennett said he wanted to focus on to save as much money as possible.
Bennett added he is hoping to hire one more person to be a full-time substitute bus driver on call for whenever a bus driver calls off.
The student’s first day at Oregon-Davis is Thursday, August 11.
