The North Judson Town Council announced they will be meeting with the Indiana Housing Community Development Authority (IHCDA) and a potential developer who is considering building homes on current properties owned by the town.
North Judson Clerk-Treasurer Andrew Rowe said, “There are pieces of property or two here in town that the town owns and the Redevelopment Commission is interested in converting into new housing. That is one thing we are really excited about.”
Rowe told WKVI News the meeting is scheduled for August 11. He added that the development of new homes would help the town expand their tax base, giving more opportunity to improve roads, streets, sidewalks, and parks.
