The West Central School Board approved a contract for a Director of Media through the Northern Indiana Education Service Center (NIESC).
The previous Certified Media Specialist resigned, opening the position for availability.
NIESC is one of nine Educational Service Centers in the State of Indiana. Each center serves a region of Indiana and offers services and products through cooperative efforts throughout the state.
West Central School Corporation Superintendent Dr. Cathy Rowe told WKVI News this agreement will help with the corporation’s vacant position in their media center. She added other schools often share a specialist through NIESC to help keep their media centers involved.
