The North Judson Town Council discussed updating lot fees at Highland Cemetery during their Tuesday evening meeting.
North Judson Clerk-Treasurer Andrew Rowe said currently fees are $350 for a plot of land with a $50 upkeep fee. It was suggested by the council to update the fees to $400 for a plot of land and $100 for the upkeep.
Rowe added this is something that should have been raised 5 percent every 3 years, but hasn’t been done.
The council took the information under advisement. They did not make a decision during the meeting but expect to bring forward the issue on a future agenda.
