The Knox City Council will hold a public hearing tonight on the 2023 budget while they go through the first reading.
A resolution will be considered pertaining to the transfer of appropriations, and the council will have more discussion on closing the railroad crossing at the alley between Main and Shield Streets. A housing development update is on the agenda to discuss as well.
Clerk-Treasurer Cyndi Kidder and Mayor Dennis Estok will both have reports.
The meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT at Knox City Hall.
