This year’s Knoxtoberfest is set for another fantastic kick-off to the fall season.
The one-day event Saturday, October 1 begins with beef tips tasting at 12 p.m. in downtown Knox. Lamb shoulder tasting will be at 2 p.m. and corn ribs will follow at 4 p.m. Awards will be given to the best tasting food at 6 p.m. CT.
Cornhole registration will begin at 1 p.m. with the tournament set to start at 2 p.m. CT
Live bands will also be performing throughout the day. Sticky Scissors is scheduled to play from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m, Branson and Aaron will follow from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and then 30 South will play from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Jolly Roger will be playing from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Seldom Told will finish the evening playing from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. CT.
Knoxtoberfest is hosted by Knox Main Street United, a non-profit downtown revitalization organization.
