The North Judson Town Council heard an update on the State Road 10 INDOT project this week.
North Judson Utility Department Superintendent Joe Leszek announced Main Street in North Judson is now open and will be resurfaced at the end of the project.
Leszek said Highway 10 West will remain open as crews are updating sidewalks, ramps and driveway transitions. He added crews may close down to one lane from time to time to allow access for heavy machinery.
He stated Highway 10 from Family Express in North Judson to the Point Drive-In will be closed until some time next month. He mentioned they are adding a new storm sewer to that area and will re-open the road as soon as it is finished. He advised to pay attention to road signs and to stay up with the project as it progresses.
The project is scheduled to go through until mid-December of this year.
