The North Judson-San Pierre School board announced their 2023 budget was adopted by the Starke County Council last week.
The budget totals about $13.4 million. Of that total, the Rainy Day Fund was allotted $468,000, $1.3 million was placed within the Debt Service Fund and $72,000 within the School Pension Debt Fund. The Education Fund is just under $7.5 million and the Operations Fund was around $4.1 million.
Superintendent Dr. Annette Zupin and Corporation Treasurer Dalton Tunis were present at the Starke County Council meeting where the budget was approved unanimously.
