The Starke County Council adopted the Special Solid Waste Management budget for 2023 during their meeting last week. The total estimated budget is $303,700.
The council also approved the North Judson-San Pierre School Corporation 2023 budget as Superintendent Dr. Annette Zupin and Corporation Treasurer Dalton Tunis went before the board. The council adopted the 2023 budget unanimously. The total budget is estimated at $13.4 million.
A public hearing was held for the Starke County Airport Authority’s budget. The proposed budget is $1,375,682. There were no public comments. The budget will formally be adopted during the council’s October 17 meeting.
In other news, the council appointed PTABOA board member Michelle Downs.
