The Eastern Pulaski School Board approved raises for the starting pay rate of classified staff.
Eastern Pulaski School Superintendent Dara Chezem told WKVI News the corporation really values their work and wanted their pay rates to be more competitive to today’s market. She added instructional assistants, custodians, nutrition staff and secretarial staff will all see their October 28 paycheck reflecting the raise.
The board approved the raise unanimously, starting the rate increase retroactively to Monday, October 11.
