The Knox City Council adopted the 2023 salary ordinance during their meeting last Tuesday.
Employees who work for the City of Knox will see a three percent hourly pay raise in 2023. Elected officials will see a one percent hourly increase.
The council members unanimously passed the ordinance on first reading and then voted to suspend the rules and pass the ordinance on the second and third reading, thus adopting the ordinance.
