The North Judson Town Council heard an update on the INDOT Highway 10 project during their meeting Monday night.
North Judson Utility Department Superintendent Joe Leszek said the project is moving along and is ahead of schedule. He added Rieth-Riley is working to hopefully open State Road 10 heading east by October 10.
Rieth-Riley is under contract to finish the entire project by mid-November. Leszek added they are striving to get the project done well ahead of the contract end date.
He said State Road 10 heading west should be fully surfaced with sidewalks finished by the end of this week. He added they have already started digging ground for new sidewalks heading east toward Dollar General.
