The Starke County Council approved the Starke County Airport Authority’s 2023 budget when they met Monday afternoon.
The public hearing for the Starke County Airport Authority’s 2023 budget was held during the council’s previous meeting. According to the notice on the Indiana Gateway website, the total budget for the Airport Authority is $1,375,682.
The budget for the Airport Authority was unanimously approved.
Starke County Council President Dave Pearman commented he would like to have a member from the Starke County Airport Authority report to the council on a regular basis. He added the council would like to be more involved with the Starke County Airport Authority.
