The Starke County Community Foundation (SCCF) and the Community Foundation of Pulaski County (CFPC) are both once again participating in the local observance of GivingTuesday.
This event celebrates what’s known as the global day of generosity, which takes place every year on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving.
This year the SCCF will celebrate from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. CT and serve lunch from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. CT. With the Hardesty Memorial Endowment Fund and additional SCCF funding, there is a $15,000 match opportunity. This means donations can be matched $1 for $1 up to $500 per fund. The SCCF will be located at the North Judson United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall for those wishing to donate.
This year marks CFPC’s 25th Anniversary, and to celebrate, a $25,000 matching gift is available on GivingTuesday! Gifts to the Community Foundation of Pulaski County’s Operating Endowment will be matched dollar-to-dollar up to $5,000. Gifts to any other fund held at CFPC will be matched 50 cents to the dollar, up to $5,000.
You may also drop off contributions at the CFPC office at 127 E Pearl St, Winamac or at Alliance Bank in Francesville today during regular business hours. Refreshments will be available at both locations.
