The Knox City Council plans to go over the second reading of an ordinance abolishing Knox City Court.
In a previous meeting, Knox Mayor Dennis Estok mentioned the city and county councils, as well as city court and circuit court would go over the options and try to find a solution on Friday, November 18.
It is expected, the council will have a response on what their decision will be moving forward during their meeting tonight.
The council also plans to discuss the 2023 salary ordinance as well as an adoption of an AIM Medical Trust.
Clerk-Treasurer Cyndi Kidder and Mayor Dennis Estok will both have their regular reports. Other items that may come before the council as well as citizen’s comments are on the agenda as well.
The meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT at Knox City Hall.
